BIROL FISEKCI

Director, Bordeaux Developments

 

 

Birol a director for Bordeaux Developments, and a transformative visionary when it comes to residential development.

 

His background in land development and home building with his start in Turkey as a director for Kemer Tourism A.S., a land development and home building company in Istanbul, Turkey. He was part of a team that developed a US$500mm residential project, “Kemer Country”. While with Kemer, Birol was responsible for product delivery and client satisfaction for a construction program averaging US$40M per year.

 

After a 10-year career in Turkey, Birol returned to Canada to co-found Bordeaux Developments with partners William Pringle and Gerald Hennig.

Since 2003, Birol has successfully architected and implemented strategic and tactical plans for both land and housing operations. He guided Baywest homes operations and growth as a Board Member for 14 years.

 

During this time, his primary role was to co-negotiate the land for the Harmony Community development, a 1750-Acre master-planned lake community taking it from visionary concept to an approved project, and finally to thriving reality in 2014 with his development team.

Birol is passionate about sales and marketing, offering his unique expertise in creating valuable, authentic well-crafted brands that drive stakeholder value. 

 

He is also an influential and active member of the land and housing industry of Calgary and co-founded the Building Hope for Kids Gala, an annual event that has raised over $1.5M for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation since its inception.  He also holds a number of Board and Professional Committee Positions and is an active member of YPO. (Young President's Organization).
